Cancellation and Refund Policy

The scheduling of your surgery takes preparation and coordination efforts on behalf of Jet Medical Tourism® (“we“, “our“ or “us“), medical and travel service providers including but not limited to doctors, hospitals, nutrition consultants and ground transportation providers. We reserve the right to make changes to the Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time we deem necessary without notice. Please take the time to read and understand the Cancellation & Refund Policy set below prior to scheduling your surgery through us.

If you cancel the Procedure at any time after you pay your initial booking fee, you understand that such cancellation will cause Jet Medical Tourism®, on behalf of itself, its employees, and its agents, the surgeon(s) and the hospital/clinic to incur economic damages and losses in types and amounts that are impossible to calculate and ascertain. Therefore, the liquidated damages set forth below represent a fair, reasonable and appropriate estimate thereof.

Accordingly, in lieu of actual damages for such cancellation, you agree that the liquidated damages may be assessed and recovered by Jet Medical Tourism®, on behalf of itself, its employees, and its agents, against you in the event of such cancellation and without Jet Medical Tourism® having to present any evidence of the amount or character of actual damages sustained by reason thereof; therefore, you agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy. Such liquidated damages are intended to be an estimate of actual damages and not intended as a penalty, and you agree to the following without limiting Jet Medical Tourism® right to terminate the Patient Agreement:

CANCELLATION BY PATIENT.

  • Cancellations must be received by Jet Medical Tourism® in writing by email.
  • If you cancel the procedure within thirteen (13) days of the scheduled date for your procedure, you understand Jet Medical Tourism® will refund up to TWENTY FIVE PERCENT (25%) of all monies paid after Jet Medical Tourism® deducts booking fee and all expenses incurred by Jet Medical Tourism®.
  • If you cancel the procedure at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled date for your procedure, you understand Jet Medical Tourism® will refund up to FIFTY PERCENT (50%) of all monies paid after Jet Medical Tourism® deducts booking fee and all expenses incurred by Jet Medical Tourism®.
  • If you cancel the procedure at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled date for your procedure, you understand Jet Medical Tourism® will refund up to SEVENTY PERCENT (70%) of all monies paid after Jet Medical Tourism® deducts booking fee and all expenses incurred by Jet Medical Tourism®.

Cancellation by Surgeon Policy: If you arrive for surgery and the surgeon decides, for your health and safety, not to attempt or complete your surgery, you will be responsible for all expenses incurred by surgeon, hospital/clinic, and Jet Medical Tourism® including but not limited to, hospital costs, transportation costs, hotel stay costs, lab fees, coordination fees, administrative fees, etc., incurred as a result of the cancellation. Upon said cancellation, any remaining balance of the 25% of your funds paid will be refunded to you after booking fee and all expenses are deducted. You will be responsible for all expenses that exceed the 25% of the funds you have paid to date.

Reschedule Policy: You can change your surgery date one (1) time if you send a written request to schedule@jetmedicaltourism.com or directly to your patient coordinator no less than thirty-one (31) days before your scheduled surgery date. This one-time change lets you use your initial $250 USD booking deposit for a new surgery date which must be made within four (4) months from your initial surgery date. If you change your surgery date within thirty-one (31) days or more of the initial scheduled surgery date, then your initial $250 USD booking deposit will be forfeited, and you will be required to pay a new $250 USD booking deposit to secure a new surgery date.
